Description
I was tasked with finding a way "to better reflect market positioning as one organization that connects brands to fans through passion. Global leader is sports, entertainment and music."

In early spring of 2012 I was approached with this project, at first only asked to create a mood-board for Octagon.com. I was later brought into the project for the UI/UX discovery in the redesign process and ultimately I was brought on for a full freelance schedule totaling more that 100 hours over 2.5 months, outside of my full-time employment.

At the end of the design process, the designs were handed off to CMG (an IPG company) where the site was to be developed and brought to life.

Overall, this is the most educational project I have ever worked in. Many bumps in the road, several all nighters, and a full scale experience and understanding of the creation and evolution of a corporate website from the ground up.
  • In 2012 I was welcomed into the Octagon.com redesign project. I was initially asked to create a mood-board for Octagon.com. After kicking butt on with the moodboard designs, the team pulled me into the larger project and the UI/UX discovery phase. Ultimately, the team hired me as a full on freelancer working a total of more than 100 hours over 2 months, of course outside of my full-time design job.

The final designs were handed off to CMG, an IPG company, where the site was to be developed and brought to life.

After several all nighters, versions of moodboards, wireframes and full websites I gained a true understanding of the proccess and evolution of a corporate website from the ground up.
