Description
The Notes on Design book series is a resource for designers that discusses audience, Gestalt and other relevant design topics.
  • Notes on Design Book Series
Notes on Graphic Design & Visual Communication and Notes on Web Design & Usability
  • OVERVIEW Notes on Graphic Design & Visual Communication was written by Gregg Berryman in 1990. This redesigned edition has been joined by a new companion book titled Notes on Web Design & Usability that is only available digitally for use on a portable reading device or in PDF form. Each book features an updated appearance based upon the aesthetic qualities of the Bauhaus movement of the 20th Century. Graphic Design exhibits CMYK color and Web Design exhibits an RGB scheme based upon the process colors of each respective field.

EXECUTION Clean lines and ample white space allows the reader to fully comphrehend the provided information and to jot down their own notes while reading. Many instances of simple illustrations accompany given chapters and those too maintain the orginal subject matter created by Berryman, but have been vector based for high definition rendering. This book is pocket sized at 4.25 x 6.87  inches and is perfect bound so it fits easily in a computer bag or anywhere else one might keep it.

  • Notes on Web Design & Usability is only available in digital format.
