A redesign of the collateral for a large, urban church.

    Updating the look of a church's collateral materials.
  • First United Methodist Church of Arlington is a historic church that requested a redesign of their materials. 

    We collectively decided to continue using the historic Cross and Flame of The United Methodist Church, but updated it with the more modern Futura font. Additionally, I used an overall minimal look as a counterpoint to the traditional and cluttered design of their previous materials.

    I pulled the flame from the logo as an independent design element for use on the business card.  I also made the person's name the main focus as this was a main complaint of the old design.
