When I first moved to the US I was a bit disappointed. I arrived in Houston and I thought to myself "this is not the US I've been seeing in the movies. Where are the trains, the subways and where are the skyscrapers. The streets aren't full of people rushing around to get to work with coffee cups in hand".
Then after living here for a while, I began to discover the downtown. I saw the beauty of a vibrant urban landscape that people are still hesitant to explore.
