JMS Consultations had already been working closely with National Gift Card to help them build a brand when NGC requested a new web site. With this new project, a familiar challenge was once again brought to the fore: How to highlight NGC's big name gift card offerings without losing the NGC brand in the process.
Large swaths of blue and gold highlight National Gift Card's brand and help to create visual interest on each page. In addition, pages are topped with a gold headline block that imitates the National Gift Card logo and create movement. Vendors are given many opportunities to highlight their cards throughout the site through traditional advertising, featured gift cards, and a scrolling marquee of cards along the bottom of the home page.
