    Product Development, Identity, and Packaging Design
  • Project Outline:
    Develop, design, and produce of an exhibition campaign for World Food Expo 2012. The event will be held Jan 6–8, 2012 at Moscone Center in San Francisco. The attendees will celebrate world’s speciality foods and beverages, and discover foods and beverages’ connection with its geological origin.

    The main target audience of the event are food-enthusiasts, professional chefs, restaurant owners, wholesale and retail companies, SF Bay Area locals, and governmental representatives. The event provides the attendees to network with their peers.

    Requirements:
    1. Choose one food and/or beverages product that closely represents a country—U.S. excluded. For example, macaroons for France, mochi for Japan, vodka for Russia, banh mi for Vietnam, etc.
    2. Identify its competitor and market landscape
    3. Develop a brand strategy
    4. Design implementation
  • Shrimp, Veggie, Pork Spring Roll.
    The three initial varieties that were created, not counting the Assorted Box, or the gift sets.
  • A slide top, wooden box packaging, the only color shown on the packaging coming from the ingredients themselves. The packaging offers a simple, clean and modern take. Nam packaging also offers a experience for all five senses to engage in, following with Vietnamese methodology in cooking.

    The Nam Spring Roll Gift Kits were developed as a secondary product to the pre-rolled spring rolls. Kits would offer the supplies and materials necessary to make your own spring rolls at home.

    goi cuon is in Vietnamese culture.
