Saint-Gobain's NOVA External Venturing group (a division devoted to seeking partnerships with innovative start-up businesses in the fields of construction products, advanced materials, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability) was looking for a clean, modern-looking website to direct potential start-up companies to for their 2012 Innovation Competition. The site features competition details and the ability to submit an entry form online or recommend a start-up that should apply for consideration. Client response has been so positive that this overall look is now carried through their other print and electronic promotional materials.
As of September 2012, NOVA reported the amount of applicants had tripled from previous years. One hundred and sixty-five start-ups submitted their cases, compared with fifty-two in 2011.
