- My Sticky Hippo
An Illustrative Study of the Hippocampus - The prompt: interpret the brain in a creative way (a metaphor perhaps) or choose a certain aspect of the brain and its functions (a specific structure, a disease, whatever).
I chose to illustrate the hippocampus, that funky seahorse-looking structure in the middle of the brain that regulates emotion and memory. Thus, we get this. Our hippocampus is like a series of sticky notes stuck to our brains, reminding us of things we have to do and how to do them.
