- Munchers Bakery
Package Redesign - The goal was to redesign Munchers Bakery's packaging using only their existing assets and to create a better user experience. Options included zooming in, cropping, or cutting up the brand without changing the typeface. In addition to redesigning the brand image, environmental impacts were taken into consideration which results in a tabbing system (no need for glue), downsizing the box dimensions to fit the pastries tightly, printing on recycled material, using soy based ink, and filling the press sheet to maximum capacity
- Problems:
-extra space in current boxes
-no organization with how pastries are placed in box
-no strong graphics/ brand image
-use tissue paper to pick up each pastry
Solutions:
-individual cookie/donut/etc. sleeves used to both grab the pastries and act as dividers once placed in box
-downsize the box dimensions to only what is necessary
-print on a high volume of recycled material
-soy based ink
-introduce bright, playful colors
-fill press sheet to maximum capacity to not waste paper - The existing packaging and branding.
