Every year AIGA of Colorado hosts Bordo Bello, a skateboard art fundraiser. I was so excited to participate in their 2011 showing. My board design was based on a place in Wyoming, called “Moskee”. My father would take me to this abandoned mining town when I was a kid and always told stories of the town. “Moskee”, according to him, means “who cares”. I found this term to be a good mantra for the skateboarding community.
