Every little detail is important to the overall professional, high-class feel of Mohawk’s envelope paper promotion. Like Charles Eames said, “The details are not the details. They make the design.”
The piece incorporates die-cuts holding each envelope and label in place and gold-foiled arrows for directions on how to open the main outer envelope. Inside each envelope is a line illustration with specific terms describing the different parts of the envelope. The back includes information on typefaces used, the line of paper used, and the type and size of the envelope used. All of this adds to the business feel of the packaged design. The different typefaces, colors, and the Mohawk “M” string opening allows for some playful inspiration however.
