This piece is a conceptual representation of time in terms of human value. It measures the worth of an individual in a corporate society in terms of the federal minimum wage of $5.85 per hour.
To account for costs of living with only dates and numbers, I chose to establish a running total of eight-hour weekdays as positive earnings, and eight-hour weekends and federal holidays representing expenditures. By years end, net earnings of $6,552.00 were accumulated.
