For my typography course, we were assigned the Milwaukee Public Library as our client and had to create a campaign for a specific audience that encourages reading. I decided to use the familiar story of Red Riding Hood to encourage young readers to be passionate about reading with the help of icons such as Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf. I created a scavenger hunt reading campaign, in which parents would take their young children to the Milwaukee Public Library to do fun-filled activities in the scavenger hunt that required the children to read and find clues in order to complete the mission. I thought this would be the best way to encourage reading for my target audience while enjoying time spent with family and friends.
