Folklore Village annually holds a Midsummer Festival, celebrating the bounty of the season, the long summer days, the beauty of the natural world, multigenerational community, and traditional folk dance, music and food. To engage a wide local audience, I combined hand lettering and watercolor illustrations of relevant imagery to create a fresh, warm and inviting message.
