MetroPCS became an official sponsor for USA Basketball prior to the
2012 Summer Olympics. I was asked to create a landing page, supporting
emails and site banners to promote a series of exciting basketball
events taking place in Metro’s major markets. I created the architecture
for the home page and when approved I went into design mode to create
the branded look and feel of the campaign.
In addition to listing event dates, we needed to drive sales for
mobile phones, showcase YouTube videos, provide links to social
channels, and promote 2 sweepstakes taking place during the campaign. I
created a complete functional specifications document to pass on to the
development team before my role on the project was finished.
