Many

A conceptual book commissioned by the Dutch book designer, Irma Boom. Her recent visit to the University of Hawaii at Manoa for an Intersections lecture enabled students of the BFA Design program to attend a two day book workshop. Each student was given a word and to develop a book inspired by that word. The word “many” could be anything, so “many” choices. The direction the book went towards is color. A wide range of colors are present for reds, blues, yellows and so on for our spectrum – a red can be a crimson or a maroon.
