Mad Rollin' Dolls billboard and poster designs for their 2011 Championship bout. Partial proceeds went toward Hopes-WI (Suicide Education & Prevention.)

  • I was contracted to design both a billboard (14’ x 48’ 16mm) and a set of posters (13" x 19" and 8.5" x 11") for the Mad Rollin' Dolls final bout of their 2011 home-season. I had an awful lot of required information I had to fit into the designs as well as their sponsors logos, but other than that I had creative freedom. I had felt that some of their past posters had been a little flashy, eccentric, and hard to read so I tried to tone it down a bit without losing any of the edginess that's at the root of roller derby. The billboard went up near the Alliant Energy Center and was put up by Adams Outdoor.
