Lykke Li is a Swedish singer-songwriter. Her music often blends elements of pop, indie rock and electronic. Various instruments can also be found in her songs, including violins, synthesizers, tambourines, trumpets, saxophones and cellos.
Her album Youth Novels is very upbeat but features many songs about a break up. This is the inspiration for the cover art. The screen printed shape is made up of many bright colored triangles. Broken shapes to represent the break up and the bright colors to represent the upbeat music.
