Re-branding of Linvilla Orchards, Media Pennsylvania
  • Linvilla Orchards Re-brand
  • In 1914, Arthur Linvill and his mother Lydia purchased a dairy farm with an eighty-foot tall octagonal barn. The Linvills shipped fresh milk and cream to Philadelphia, but decided they wanted to broaden their horizons. So they planted orchards, and sold their fruits from a horse-drawn wagon and from the front porch of their home. Once the word got out that the Linvills had such great produce, they moved their store into the barn. It wasn’t long before they added a bakery and gift shop. Neighbors from all over the Philadelphia region have been coming back ever since.
