- Every semester the University of Kansas’s student-run radio station, KJHK, holds a design contest to generate a poster for their programming schedule. KJHK is notable for its mission to provide a “sound alternative” to mainstream commercial radio. In order to represent the unique variety of programs the station offers, this poster utilizes a combination of computerized and surreal aesthetic choices to represent a place where extremely different subjects are able to coexist. This poster was selected as the final design and was distributed throughout the university campus, as well as several establishments in downtown Lawrence, Kansas.
