To stimulate business in the Decorative Arts District of East Midtown Manhattan, the East Midtown Association –
a not-for-profit Business Improvement District – decided to sponsor an annual weekend when some of the country's
leading decorators and interior designers open their studios to the general public. Worked as a team member at Silver Communications to develop the "Inside DecArts" name and IDeA logo for the event, and created signage, posters and collateral communications promoting the event. The first Inside DecArts was a commercial and public relations success. Worked with EMA to develop the promotional communications for subsequent events promoting East Midtown as a shopping and dining destination.
