On occasion, as wedding gifts, I do invites and help develop a visual aesthetic for friends deciding to exchange vows. I know our culture holds weddings in high-regard, but more importantly I hold both these couples near and dear to my heart. Sam and Chris wanted their invite to be something that could have a full life cycle. The back of the invite was designed to be pages in a scrapbook expressing what love means to their family and friends.
The Harringtons wanted something Victorian, but with a modern twist. Drawing on the rich heritage of not just New Orleans, but many of the older cities in the South, we developed a hanging iron sign with the combination of their first initials. As a party favor, they shared their love of rich coffee with their guests and family.
