Hytech Energy is a small oil drilling equipment and technology company out of Bakersfield, California. What makes them unique is they use doppler radar technology to enable the drills to dig deeper for longer even when there is very little oil being harvested. Hytech wanted to show this in their identity somehow. I developed these sound waves pointed down to symbolize what makes Hytech Energy different form its competition. I also used bold san serif typography to still keep the industrial feel that often corresponds with oil drilling. They also wanted a clean a simple website to show off their capabilities to potential clients.
