This image is part of an advertisement that ran in The New York Times in the first half of 2013. The image is part of a 5-ad campaign by the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau to promote Houston's local talent. Each advertisement has a "Houston is..." theme and features Houston celebrities. This ad was one of the "Houston is Tasty" ads, showcasing some of the chefs and culinary masters of Houston.

  • Above is a before/after comparison, the original photo on bottom. The picture was shot in a rather closed environment and the template for ad space in The New York Times is much more of a letterbox/panoramic shape. The original photo was heavily modified to expand the bar and background to fill the ad space without heads or feet being cropped out or covered with text. Other photos from the same shoot were used to rearrange the models positioning.
