Description
This was a branding and packaging project for my home brew company HopHead. I wanted to create and build a unique 4pk. There are other 4 packs of beer on the market, but my box design stands apart from the competition because of the sturdiness from using 1/8" corrugated, a collapsing handle and use of no glue. I wanted the graphics and typography to be minimalistic and stripped down to reflect the hand made, small batch quality that is representative of home brews. The logo is meant to give a sense of hand lettering, but with a slight sophistication, while the variety of beer is set in all caps with filled in counters to give a cut-out feel. The use of the cool blue is meant to give an inviting feeling with the logo set in a warm yellow to contrast the blue and really pop. The pattern on the side is a silhouette of hops and is meant to be a graphic representation of one of the base ingredients of all beers.
