- Hansel and Gretel are two paintbrushes in art school. Hansel is a very clean-cut brush that follows the "rules" of art. Gretel is more of a free sprit that takes what she is given and makes it her own. Their wicked teacher has trapped Hansel by making home believe art can only be done a certain way. Gretel saves Hansel by inspiring him to do his own interpreting of art.
