Advertising for a national or state park is exceptionally different because you are selling an experience. Each park has something different to offer, the one thing all parks have in common is the notion that each park is interactive. Therefore, my goal was to make an one-page and a two-page spread that engages the user actively.
Rocky Mountains: This one-page spread allows the viewer to see an image through the typographic stencil.
Smoky Mountains: This two-page spread reveals an image when the wood stencil flips up; additionally, the ad opens into a poster and displays information about the park on the back.
