GARÇON PERÓN is a pet project of mine. When asked to develop an identity for a new market I chose pet food. Rather than your average pet food which you would buy at the store, GARÇON PERÓN is made-to-order and shipped fresh to your door. My main focus in creating the brand was homemade with a good dose of whimsy, something I found missing from most available pet food brands. For the packaging I used butcher paper to bring in that sense of freshness found at a local butcher shop which I enhanced with sticker labels—that served as the ingredient list—and twine to complete the look. The hangtag gives a brief background about the company and allows further distinction between the cat and dog foods. For the web I decided to design with responsive CSS grids so the shopping experience would be the same across platforms.
