This was a personal project exploring the role of the public eye in modern society. We live in a culture of exhibitionism - we share the most intimate details of our personal lives on social networking sights and admire celebrities who reach the top by transforming themselves into human spectacles. This painting investigates the idea of being forced into the public eye against one's will.
