Francis Tuttle's THINK GREEN initiative carried through 2012 with a strong boost from several new recycling efforts. Chief among them was the plastic recycling campaign, the centerpoint of which were the newly designed plastic recycling bins.
The overall goal was to create a bright, attractive item that could be displayed in any location without seeming to be a trash receptacle. The secondary goal was to clearly communicate the bin's use so that students, staff and guests would understand what items were acceptable.
The design utilized a bright, highly saturated green, paired with clear, simple illustrations and Francis Tuttle's signature silver and purple to achieve all of the above goals.
