A grouping of some of my pencil sketches I transferred from my sketchbook.
I had orginally sketched these characters in pencil before deciding they would end up together. I have always loved costume and character design - so I tend to sketch people and their clothing more often than anything else. I ended up painting these character's portraits as female assassins, each from a different period in history and shown holding their weapon of choice.
Liiabri: Antwoon Mystic. (I love coming up with names)
Horned character that I made using grape jelly on a napkin and then pushing it around in Photoshop. Hmmm, I think I'll name him Hothlamuk. He looks like a Hothlamuk.
This one started and pennies dipped in green paint then 'smeared' onto paper. Some of the smears looked like hair - so I ran with it.
This creature loves trinkets, but not as much as he loves power. I imagine him foraging for human artifacts so that he can trade them for favors which he uses to leverage power and work his way up to the 'King of the Underbrush' so that he might gain his favor and then overtake him....I don't know. Just seems like that could be whats going on. But there are a million other stories here too. Anyway, this painting was done in Photoshop.- Bored Fish. Watercolor.
Bored fish. This is a watercolor painting I did one day when I was bored myself. Actually, I'm never really bored. But, maybe it's because I just start musing on possibilities or painting if I start to feel that way.
