Familiar, New Worlds
An exercising in titling and reader perception
A book comprised of 5 Diana Mini pictures and multiple titles for each. The individual titles change the readers perception about the photo.
This book is made of 5 full-bleed images taken on a Diana Mini toy camera. Each photo has three different titles hidden by a small flap. These flaps are designed so the user can read the titles individually while minimally disrupting the viewing experience.
The title of the book insinuates all these places are recognizable, and yet they seem new with each title that is revealed. The book is made of french folded pages, is hand sewn, and bound in a Canary Yellow Canson paper.
