Fleur Créatif is the foremost international magazine for those with an interest in high-end floral design. For this assignment, we were prompted to head an article design for a new, bilingual version of Fleur in a new distribution market. I selected a French Canadian market, and got to work integrating both languages into a series of pre-determined articles with accompanying images.
The result is clean and elegant - the focus here is the images, as the official Fleur is exceptionally image-heavy, and the photography is allowed room to breathe as the focal point of the articles. English text is set regularly, and French text is set in italics, to provide a clear and dominant difference between the two languages throughout the publication.
