Enveloped, 2009
Enveloped is a packaged self portrait. In this project, a canvas envelope hides four consecutive others. Their opening reveals four categories of my work so far: drawing, ceramics, illustration and typography. Hand printed in CMYK, they all are connected by the central square which is embossed with my signature. All unified, the envelope symbolize how interconnected my art and design experiences are and how all come together in my graphic design work. Spread out, the minimal typography reads: I am what I remember, I become what I see.
