Editorial Design: Beauty In Mortality

This book celebrates the history and beauty of cemetery art in New York City- namely gravestone carvings and mausoleums. The ornate design and laser-cut sandpaper type of the book cover embodies the opulent stone carvings that define NYCs' sprawling cemeteries. This book was designed as part of the M.S. in Communication Design Typography 2 course at Pratt Institute and includes original photography.
