Ecocentricity was the title of my senior degree project, which positioned the question: "how can graphic design influence a greener lifestyle approach to newly independent young adults in the Kansas City metro area?"
The posters were the first branch of the project, using a parodied '60s horror movie style for the illustrations and execution. Each poster touched on one of three main areas of consumption I focused on: energy, waste, and water. The posters were cut into four segments to be placed inside coffee houses and local shops for people to find and collect while discovering the metropolitan area. On the back of the segments are easy, free and/or cheap tips to reduce consumption of each type.
The second project was to create an interactive site. Navigating through the abstract stalks allowed the user to learn more about energy, waste, and water consumption.
