I created the following advertisements in my Design and Publishing course in spring 2013.
I conducted extensive research on the Mr. Q. Cumber soft drink product and brand, determined a target marketing group, and designed a series of ads promoting the product to that group. My research led me to conclude that the strongest market for this kind of soft drink -- one that can be enjoyed on its own or as an ingredient within alcoholic mixed drinks -- would be women between the ages 21 and 40. I chose to portray the product--as well as the consumer--as fun, flirty, and trendy. Stock photography enabled me to create a consistently sexy mood in each ad.
