Dementia

An interpretation of the deconstruction Alzheimer's and Dementia has on the mind. I took my Grandmother's love for birds, flowers, and all things involving nature as my inspiration to create this collection. The series begins with organic blossoming elements which then die into barren emptiness. Words are hidden and obscured behind the abstracted hemispheres that describe my relationship with her disease.
