Challenge: Create a magazine for the different styles of boarding sports: snowboarding, wakeboarding, kiteboarding, and skateboarding. A magazine that intrigues all boarders interests and inspires boundaries.Approach: Instead of going with a traditional action shot for the cover, a more unexpected approach is to be applied, as well as a combination of type design and imagery that transcends the readers into that degree of emotion when they are active in the sport.
Solution: The first look of the magazine is a reflective image and broken masthead, inspired by the idea of the 'degree' of the sport. The imagery consists of vibrant and unique photography with the combination of type structures pulling the reader through the magazine.
