Dean O’Banion was a notorious mob boss from Chicago in the 1920’s. Leading the North Side Gang, primarily Irish and Polish,he led the underground world during prohibition. There was even one incident in which he raided a whiskey distillery and made over a million dollars from selling the booze. In honor of Mr. O’Banion, North Side Distillery was formed in the late 1930’s and now produces this finest whiskey in Chicago. I designed every aspect of this product in order to portray a 1920’s mob concept. The box is made from pine because when mobsters died they were buried in pine caskets.
