This final assignment in my Visual Communications course was to create DVD packaging for the movie the Badlands by director Terrence Malick. The parameters were to use only 3 colors plus black and no photography.
After watching the film Badlands, directed by Terrance Malick, I designed this cover to reflect the desolate scenery and eerie plot line. Throughout the packaging I incorporated imagery and quotes citing key moments in the movie.
