Cult of Flowers

I believe young women should feel inspired and not inadequate when looking at a magazine. The mission of Cult of Flowers is to open young women’s eyes to a world that doesn’t value women based on their appearance but by what they think, do and make. Cult of Flowers features profiles on interesting adult women, articles about women’s history, a how-to section, short fiction, and interviews. By showing how other women have become successful, it will provide a guide for young women to achieve their goals. As Art Director and Editor I designed the entire publication, commissioned photography, created illustrations, and sourced articles. The design aesthetic is approachable for young people, but more refined than most mainstream youth publications.
