“Consider” is an experimental graphic novel that portrays a variety of irrational phobias through the eyes of the patient. The aim of the book is not to literally portray the phobia, but as the reader flips through the pages, the pacing is meant to engender the mood of the patient through the use of composition, words, images and graphics. I want the reader to be able to consider the fears from their perspective, so they can better understand and empathize with them. Some of the phobias displayed are: fear of the moon, fear of long words, fear of numbers, fear of white space, fear of dolls, etc.
