Connect Magazine

Connect magazine was the result of a group project created during our history of graphic design class. The magazine focuses on iconic mid-century designers and their influential work. The significance of the magazine is to make a connection between the work of these monumental designers and the lasting influence that they have on modern culture.

One of the desires of our team was to display a copious amount of information in a way that would be easily understood. We wanted our readers to be able to easily connect designers with their influence in modern culture. In order to accomplish this goal, each designer is featured with an article from designishistory.com along with several images of their work. In addition to showcasing each designer’s work, two pieces from each designer are paired next to a piece from another industry. In order to further enhance the connections, we created an infographic showing the influence that each designer had.
