For the past decade, the Columbus Food & Wine Affair has been combining exquisite tastings from the area's finest restaurants with renowned wines across the globe.
The main event, The Grand Tasting, takes place at the Franklin Park Conservatory from dusk into the autumn night. Using the affair as a starting point, I wanted to create something that reflects the majestic, romantic, warm, bold, and decadent event. To best express this, I chose to romanticize the relationship between food and wine. The dreamlike nature of the cloth and fork alludes to the removing of corks, the pouring of wine and the unveiling of the experience where food and wine intertwine.
This design has been chosen for the 2012 Columbus Food & Wine Affair's Grand Tasting.
I'll keep everyone updated once this starts going live.
