An acrylic painting showing 7 different color schemes in addition to the color scheme of the actual fabric. The actual fabric is shown in the lower part of the dragon's body.

Instr: Kohl King, AiCALA
  • For this project I had to choose a fabric and divide the fabric into 8 sections following the flow of the design that is on the fabric. Starting with tracing paper (as per the assignment), I transferred the design to bristol.
Then I spray mounted the bristol to the fabric. Using acrylics, I showed different color schemes for 7 of the sections and cut out the 8th section revealing the fabric. Actual fabric is shown in the dragon's lower body.
  • Dimensions: (12x12in)
