Description
Poster designed for the 2012 International Symposium on Colonial Latin American literature and history. The poster, which is mainly targeted towards historians, literary critics and art historians specializing in colonial Latin America, illustrates the clash of two periods of time: a historical colonial past and the present in from which the past is being revisited. The poster was designed to mimic the ripping of the ceiling of a Baroque church structure, which represents the questioning of the social and political construction of Latin American colonial values analyzed from the present.
