Client Book Project: For Emily Austin
Spring 2012: The University of Kansas
In this project, we were assigned a person from our class to be our "client" and assigned to another person to be their "client." We were to utilize photography to capture what was most important to our client. After the client gathered photos of what they wanted, we had to design a book that represented them in the best way.
We met each class with out "client" to discuss progress and ideas. Emily's idea was to focus on her bedroom. Her unique elements and collectibles tell a whole new story for her than just making a book about one of her projects. This book was very personal, had vintage aesthetics, and I let the photos speak for themselves. The only type in the book is a couple quotes that she found inspirational, and an introduction into the book.
