Chicago Bagel and Deli is a small but very populare bagel and deli place that makes their bagels from scratch every single day. They’re so popular, people have to pre-order their bagels to make sure they don’t run out! I wanted to focus more on the idea of Chicago as opposed to the food it serves. Since Chicago is known as “The Windy City,” I incorporated a sort of wind gust to shape the bagel. The deep red color is also a reference to the Chicago Cubs, the city’s baseball team. I definitely wanted something cleaner and more modern without making the mark look so cold and detached.
