Cela Tea Company is based on the comparison of tea's hidden beauty to a butterfly's hidden beauty in its cocoon until it emerges much like when tea emerges from the bag.

  • A butterfly’s beauty is hidden until it transforms and emerges from it’s cocoon. Much like the butterfly, tea is not visually attractive, but when brewed it changes into a thing of beauty with unique aromas and flavors.

    I created this idea for a tea company that offers premium green tea. The brand identity is inspired by the standard scientific naming convention by combining two Latin words to create the meaning “hidden beauty”.
    The package design resembles butterfly display cases to present the product.
